wordsofatroubledwallflower asked: To finish off: People need to disregard the negative stigma tattoos hold and value them for what they are: thought bubbles imprinted on the skin. This is a piece of the person, and by attacking this aspect, you are attacking the values of the person.
Sometimes. I don’t think everyone puts as much thought into their tattoos as we would like to think. And that’s cool too. but…idk.
I’m not jumping into this any further.
Thank you for your messages!
wordsofatroubledwallflower asked: I compare them to fashion in the sense that they show who you are, some people dress eccentrically, but that is their choice. No one has a right to tell them they can't wear a particular item because they personally do not like it. Same with tattoos. People chose to wear the ink proudly because its part of who they are, it best shows who they are and what they think, at least to the extent of the colors capabilities. They are expensive, they are an investment in self. People need to disregard th

But I see what you are saying.
TATTOOS ARE FOREVER.
WEAR YOUR INK PROUD AND FREE FROM REGRETS.
wordsofatroubledwallflower asked: You can love tattoos and not have any. Also, an artist can love them and not have any him/herself (although uncommon). Tattoos are a life choice in the same way a life career is. Its an expression, and anyone who bashes others for having it not having is immature and a bully, in the same way a prepubescent/school aged bully is. They try to put down others for "perceived" short comings or differences. Tattoos/lack there of are no different than fashion styles, its who we/they are, and bashing peo
OMG THAT HAS BEEN A GOAL TO WALK INTO ENOUGH SHOPS AND FIND AN ARTIST THAT DOES NOT HAVE ANY TATTOOS.
I agree. I just think it’s silly in general to have her particular situation happen. She has a blog. Just some random ass blog like all of us on here, not hurting anyone, and someone is freaking out about it.
I would have to say that tattoos are different than fashion styles because they are permanent. If anything, I would like to think those people that don’t have them but like and are planning on getting them, don’t have them yet because it’s a permanent decision. and they are expensive mind you.
urrmomdotcom asked: About being judged for having or not having tattoos: Hater's gonna hate.
Yes.
viebot answered: Nah, I mean there are serial killers blog that are run by non-serial killers. Lets hope.
hahahahahahaha
a-momentin-time asked: So, tattooed people are always harassed with questions of why they got ink on their skin... And I'm supposed to believe there's a person without tattoos who is harassed for not having any? bigLolthere. Btw, I also have a tattoo blog (but done on the net years before tumblr even existed) I began that before having any tattoos, and so far I still only have 1. Aside from all this, I hope you get one soon, you’ll def love it.
But really…she is being harassed about it. It’s really dumb. And that whole quote “people with tattoos won’t judge other people for not having one” is wrong. people will judge you about anything and everything because that’s what we do.
I do love them, but I don’t see me getting one in the near future.
I just asked because there is another girl who has one and also doesn’t have tattoos and everyone is busting her balls about it.
THANKS FOR NOT BEING JUDGMENTAL!
